@Nance E: The mountains there are weird! I don't know how many photos I took before I got one where you could actually see the contours. Bizarre.

Great image! They are strange...it looks as if you are standing inside a volcano that has been overgrown with green.

@Twinklestamper: Ummm, that's cause that's what Hawaii IS! It's all rock from volcanoes that is overgreen with green! There are no native plants. Everything was brought there. (or at least that's what the natives told us during our tours)

Alicia, I remember the first timme I saw the mountains in Hawaii!beautiful, They look like a giant has taken his fingers and raked down and made grooves in the mountains. They are so beautiful and when fog is on them the look changes every few minutes.
